What Is Knee Tendonitis?
Tendonitis (also spelled tendinitis) is inflammation or irritation of a tendon; the thick band of tissue that connects muscle to bone.

- Pain that worsens with downhill running
- Tenderness along the outside of the knee

Pes Anserine (Goosefoot) Tendonitis or Bursitis
This condition affects the tendons and bursa on the inner side of the knee, just below the joint line.
It is often seen in:

- Individuals with knee arthritis
- Patients with altered walking mechanics
