Tyus Momoh chose healthcare because he genuinely believes in helping people become the strongest version of themselves. Tyus is originally from Los Angeles, California, and later moved to Grand Prairie, Tx. Growing up, sports were a huge part of his life. That competitive spirit took him to Cameron University, where he played collegiate basketball and earned his degree in Sports and Exercise Science. Being an athlete shaped how he sees movement, discipline, and mental fortitude, and it ultimately led him to pursue physical therapy.
Tyus earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from South College, where he developed a strong foundation in movement science and performance optimization. He is passionate about empowering individuals to move with confidence, strength, and purpose so they can return to the activities that matter most to them.
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys playing basketball, competing in athletic activities, exercising, traveling, reading, and journaling about psychology and personal growth. He’s a proud Lakers fan, and for those who often ask, his last name reflects his family’s roots in Sierra Leone in West Africa.
My biggest philosophy of care comes down to two simple phrases: “MOLIFE” and “Keep Going.”
“MOLIFE” is not just something I say. It is a mindset and a standard. It means chasing longevity, protecting the body you were given, and committing to a life built on movement, strength, and health. It is about thinking long term. Not just feeling better this week, but building a body and mindset that lasts for years.
My philosophy of care is centered on treating people holistically. Patients are more than an MRI result, more than a diagnosis, and more than a single joint that hurts. They are fathers, mothers, athletes, leaders, dreamers. They carry stress, habits, goals, and stories that all influence how they heal. I believe in calming symptoms, restoring movement, strengthening the body, and developing the mindset to sustain progress long after therapy ends.
“MOLIFE” is about helping people move with purpose, live with intention, and leave each phase of care stronger than when they arrived. Not just pain free, but resilient. Not just recovered, but elevated.
And if you are reading this, whatever season you are in, keep going.
