Learn About the Unification
In June 2026, All-Star Orthopaedics, AOA Orthopedic Specialists, North Texas Orthopedics & Spine Center, Orthopedic Associates and OrthoTexas announced plans to unite under one name and operate together as OrthoTexas beginning in November 2026. The practices came together to make orthopedic and spine care across Dallas-Fort Worth more connected, more accessible and easier to navigate.
What This Means for You
What’s not changing:
- Your doctor and care team. You’ll keep seeing the same physicians and staff you know.
- Your location. You’ll still visit the same office, at the same address.
- Your medical records. Your history and records stay with your care team.
- Your accepted insurance. We will continue to accept your most recent insurance plans.
What’s changing:
- Our name. You’ll see the OrthoTexas name on our building signs, front door, paperwork and appointment reminders.
- More physicians. OrthoTexas will include more than 70 physicians specializing in orthopedics, sports medicine, non-operative spine care, spine surgery, joint replacement, hand & wrist and foot & ankle care.
- More access. You can now see specialists at more than 20 OrthoTexas locations, which can make it easier to get an appointment. We will also have a team of more than 50 physical therapists at 13 locations across DFW.
One Physician-Led Organization
OrthoTexas brings together specialists in orthopedics, spine, sports medicine, joint replacement, pain management, physical medicine and rehabilitation, foot and ankle care, physical therapy and other subspecialties. Many OrthoTexas locations also offer on-site physical therapy, X-ray and MRI.
“Coming together as one group allows us to create a more seamless experience for patients and preserves the culture and clinical autonomy that made each practice successful,” said Dr. Michael Briseño, chairman of OrthoTexas.
Leaders of the founding practices designed the transition to strengthen collaboration while keeping the physician-led approach that has defined each practice for years. OrthoTexas is partnered with United Musculoskeletal Partners (UMP).
