Bianca was born and raised in Waxahachie, TX and recently moved to Mansfield. She always knew she wanted to go into healthcare since she enjoyed helping people and wanted to see their condition improve. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2021 with a BS in Exercise Science and got a job as a physical therapy tech with AOA, now OrthoTexas, shortly after. Her love for physical therapy grew each day working as a tech which led to her decision of applying to PTA school. Bianca attended Navarro College at Midlothian’s PTA program for two years where she served as class president of the student association and graduated as valedictorian. From there she returned to AOA as a PTA at the Highlander location. She lives an active life outside of work spending time weight lifting, running and dancing. For her non-active hobbies she enjoys baking, going to concerts and traveling.
My goal as a PTA is to be an advocate for my patients. A lot of patients have experienced being dismissed by healthcare providers or feeling like their concerns aren’t heard or respected. My personal principle is to be the person on their team who is fighting for them if no one else is. I do my best to listen to each patient’s concern and treat their issues accordingly, providing them appropriate care to the best of my ability. I want to be their biggest cheerleader and support them through what can be a difficult time in their life and celebrate all their wins, big or small, throughout their time in therapy.
